Question: I am 24 and have testosterone deficiency. I only get wet dreams every 2-3 months, and I don't have a sex partner. Is it necessary for me to masturbate? If yes, how often?

Answer:

This is a difficult question to answer.  In terms of wet dreams, it is normal for people your age to not have wet dreams.  Wet dreams occur mostly at puberty and tend to slow down over time.  When you do experience a wet dream, it could potentially be caused by sheets or mattress rubbing against the penis, or you are experiencing an erotic dream.  It does not have to do with your testosterone deficiency.

It is also not harmful nor beneficial to masturbate.  As you probably know, masturbation is completely normal and natural but is not a necessary action.  If you enjoy masturbating, no harm will come of it.  If you prefer not to, hold off until you can have intercourse with a partner.
